Ledgix ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Ledgix financial management service (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

  • Company Information: Business name and related details you provide during onboarding.
  • QuickBooks Data: When you connect your QuickBooks Online account, we access financial data including accounts, customers, invoices, and summary reports solely to provide the Service features you request.
  • Usage Data: Log data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • To sync and display your QuickBooks financial data within Ledgix.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security incidents.
  • To communicate service-related notices or updates.

3. QuickBooks Data Access

Ledgix integrates with QuickBooks Online via Intuit's OAuth 2.0 API. We request only the scopes necessary to deliver the Service (com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting). QuickBooks access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and never exposed to the browser or stored in plain text. We do not sell or share your QuickBooks data with third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@ledgixr.com.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest for sensitive credentials. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Intuit QuickBooks Online. Your use of QuickBooks is subject to Intuit's own Privacy Statement. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies strictly necessary to authenticate you and maintain your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
